The story takes us into the colorful pop-culture world of these four 13-year old friends, back in the days when video games were still a novelty. Her wish for a mother for Christmas is granted by Philomena (Doris Roberts) and Amy (Newton-John), a department store mannequin, is brought to life to be a mom for Jessica.
