Shake It Up is an American sitcom airing on Disney Channel in the United States. The series premiered on November 7, 2010. Created by Chris Thompson and starring Bella Thorne and Zendaya, the show follows the adventures of CeCe Jones and Rocky Blue as they star as background dancers on a local show, Shake It Up Chicago. It also chronicles their misadventures on- and off-set, and their troubles and rising social status at school. Davis Cleveland, Roshon Fegan, Adam Irigoyen, Kenton Duty and Caroline Sunshine also are other main cast members in the series.

The show’s original concept was for Disney to create a female buddy comedy, only with a dance aspect. Shake It Up is Disney’s third original series, after The Famous Jett Jackson and Sonny with a Chance, to use a show-within-a-show format. The series is also the first Disney Channel Original Series since So Random! to have more than six primary contracted cast members at one time.

On September 29, 2011, Disney Channel announced it had increased Shake It Up’s second season order to 26 episodes. A second soundtrack with songs from the series, Shake It Up: Live 2 Dance, was released on March 20, 2012. A 90-minute special episode Made In Japan aired August 17, 2012 as the season two finale. Remington Steele is an American television series co-created by Robert Butler and Michael Gleason. Regular Show is an American animated television series created by J. G. Quintel for Cartoon Network that premiered on September 6, 2010. The series revolves around the lives of two friends, a Blue Jay named Mordecai and a raccoon named Rigby —both employed as groundskeepers at a local park. Their regular attempts to slack off usually lead to surreal, extreme and often supernatural misadventures. During these misadventures, they interact with the show’s other main characters: Benson, Pops, Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, Skips and Margaret.

Many of Regulars Show’s characters are loosely based on those developed for Quintel’s student films at California Institute of the Arts: The Naive Man from Lolliland and 2 in the AM PM. Quintel pitched Regular Show for Cartoon Network’s Cartoonstitute project, in which the network allowed young artists to create pilots with no notes, which would possibly be optioned as shows. The project was green-lit and it premiered on September 6, 2010. The show is inspired by some British television series and video games. Episodes are produced using storyboarding and hand-drawn animation, and each episode takes roughly nine months to create. Quintel recruited several independent comic book artists to draw the show’s aminated elements; their style matched closely Quintel’s ideas for the series. The show’s soundtrack comprises original music composed by Mark Mothersbaugh and licensed songs.

Mrs. Brown’s Boys is a British-Irish award winning sitcom created by and starring writer and performer Brendan O’Carroll. The show is based on O’Carroll’s stage plays about the character Agnes Browne, which were developed from books and straight-to-DVD films. The sitcom continues the stories of Agnes, now with the shortened surname “Brown”, and her family who are played by real life close friends and family of O’Carroll’s. After being slated by critics, the show has become a ratings success in both Ireland, where it is set, and the United Kingdom, where it is recorded. On 29 December 2012 the show began its third series. Mrs Brown’s Boys is a co-production among BBC Scotland, BocPix and RTÉ.
