Private Practice is an American medical drama television program which ran on ABC from September 26, 2007 to January 22, 2013. A spin-off of Grey’s Anatomy, the series takes place at Seaside Wellness Center and chronicles the life of Dr. Addison Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh, as she leaves Seattle Grace Hospital in order to join a private practice, in Los Angeles. Private Practice also revolves around Addison’s co-workers at Seaside Wellness, and how they deal with patients, and the practice while still finding time to live their everyday lives.
The series was created by Shonda Rhimes, who also serves as executive producer, alongside Betsy Beers, Mark Gordon, Mark Tinker, Craig Turk, and Steve Blackman, who serve as showrunners due to Rhimes’s duties on Grey’s Anatomy. On May 11, 2012, Private Practice was renewed for a sixth and final season. The sixth season was the first not to feature Tim Daly and was announced on October 19, 2012, to be the final season of the show.

Summerland is an American drama television series created by Stephen Tolkin and Lori Loughlin. It is centered on a clothing designer in her 30s, Ava Gregory, raising her niece and nephews after their parents die in a tragic accident. They live in Summerland, California with three of Ava’s friends who also help raise the kids.
Summerland premiered on June 1, 2004 on the defunct television network The WB. The series ran for a total of 26 episodes over two seasons. Its cancellation was announced on May 15, 2005 and the last episode aired on July 18, 2005. A soundtrack was released on March 19, 2005 and the show has been syndicated in many countries.

Banged Up Abroad is a British documentary/docudrama television series created by Bart Layton that was produced for Channel 5 and that premiered in March 2006. Most episodes feature stories of people who have been arrested while travelling abroad, usually for trying to smuggle illegal drugs, although some episodes feature people who were kidnapped or captured while travelling or living in any other country. Some episodes have featured real-life stories that first became well-known when they were the subject of a film: films that have been “re-made” in this way include Midnight Express, Goodfellas, The Devil’s Double, Argo, and, to a lesser extent, Casino and Mr Nice.

5th Ward; is a fresh episodic series that captures the gamut of problems that plague inner city communities in an enlightening entertaining, and fast paced way. Fifth Ward is a historic black neighborhood located in Houston, Texas. Similar to Brooklyn in New York City or Compton in Los Angeles, Fifth Ward is a neighborhood in the midst of a dramatic cultural change. Created by Houston filmmaker Greg Carter, episodes tackle today’s relevant social, economic and political issues through the eyes of three generations of the Kennedys, an extended black family living in the neighborhood since the 1950′s.
